Horse racing fans on both the East and West Coasts enjoyed fantastic racing for the Saratoga and Del Mar meet. In competitive races, people had the opportunity to wager on the best horses in the world at two historic race courses.
Saratoga was highlighted by the Draftkings Travers Stakes where the filly and Kentucky Oaks winner, Thorpedo Anna, took on the colts and almost won as she came charging down the stretch to almost beat two year old champion and winner Fierceness in a thrilling race.
At Del Mar, the FanDuel Pacific Classic highlighted a day with five graded stakes races. The winner was longshot Mixto, at odds of 22-1. Del Mar will also be hosting the upcoming Breeders' Cup World Championships, November 1-2.
